I was hired to formulate a logo for Queen, a startup company. The client requested something with an elegant, regal look. In my initial sketches, I implemented a crown/tiara and a scepter. In later revisions I took a minimalistic approach and eliminated the objects and used frilly decorative elements around the name. I also changed the color from gradients of purple and orange and blue and orange to simply gold. The design unfourtunately, was rejected.
